This place is incredibly special. Take a digital tour of all the unique and hidden spots we have been discovering over the past few years, as this land begins to be cared for again.
The land at Myponga
Where?
Just an hour drive from Adelaide, the property is located high on the hilltops in between the Myponga Reservoir and Myponga Beach.
The Land
A combination of enormous hilly valleys, creeks and wide open fields, the property is 264 acres that we are lucky to care for. Ultimately our aim is to restore this place to a native grassland with Sheoaks and Pink Gums, a place where the Glossy Black Cockatoo can be reintroduced on the mainland.
From the sky you can get a small sense of the scale of this place. This shot, facing away from the road, shows the hike down to the river.
The Shed
At the top of the hill sits the shed. Currently the heart of everything we do, it’s a simple space with tools and a kitchen, but it’s where we gather to discuss ideas, drink tea after a day planting seeds, and in 2026 it’ll be the place we hold some more special events. Currently home to our seed beds and seed nursery - the natives that will soon cover the land all start their life here.
